Code of conduct

In the interest of Hyde Villa J.F.C. all parents should:

  • Show a commitment to fund raising and social events.
  • Support the whole team constructively during training sessions and matches.
  • Not coach from the sidelines.
  • Allow the management team to coach only.
  • Ensure all agreed subscriptions are paid in full on the first training session of every month.
  • Ensure all players are punctual to both training sessions and match days.
  • Allow ten minutes before designated start time of training sessions or matches.
  • Ensure the management receive at least three days notice as to any absences from training or matches.
  • Take responsibility for all kits/training outfits and equipment provided.
  • Ensure players have full appropriate Hyde Villa outfits for training sessions and matches.
  • Respect any management decisions regarding team selection.
  • Allow the management team to give technical advice to players before matches and at half time without any interruption.
  • Only approach the management team regarding any grievances at a suitable time.
  • Not let any ill feeling cascade down to the players.
  • Respect all refereeing decisions.
  • Not abuse any match official or opposing team members or supporters.
  • Agree with any discipline decisions imposed by the management team.
  • Forward any major grievances in writing to the club Chairman.
  • Never enter the field of play unless instructed to.

In the interest of Hyde Villa J.F.C. all players will:

  • Show a commitment to fund raising and social events.
  • Offer support to team mates.
  • Not verbally abuse team mates or parents and management team.
  • Show a disciplined and high work rate during training sessions and matches.
  • Agree with management decisions regarding substitutions and team selection.
  • Be punctual to training sessions and matches.
  • Take responsibility of all kits/training outfits and equipment.
  • Ensure the appropriate kits are present and correct for training sessions and matches.
  • Absorb any advice given by the management team.
  • Respect any refereeing decisions.
  • Not verbally abuse match officials or opponents and their supporters

All players and parents will be disciplined in the following manner if the above code of conducts are broken:

  • A player will not be eligible to play if not present for the midweek training session without giving the required notice.
  • A player will not be eligible to train or play if he is not wearing the appropriate provided kit for a training session or match.
  • A player will immediately be placed as a substitute if he is late on a match day.
  • A player will sit out the first session of a training night until an appropriate time arises to join the group if he is late.
  • A player/parent will be suspended pending a management meeting if a major misdemeanour occurs or the above code of conduct rules are continually broken.

The management reserve the right to insert any additional code of conduct which may arise.
